Sunday Assembly has both a free childcare program and youth group during the monthly assembly. We have many wonderful families that join us on the 3rd Sunday of each month and we are excited to see that grow in the upcoming years. If you are new to Sunday Assembly, welcome! We hope you and your family will feel right at home.
Our Mission: To enhance the lives of children and their families through science education and exploration of ethics and morality.
FAQ's
- How much does it cost for childcare?
Here at Sunday Assembly we are fortunate enough to have the support of monthly sustaining donors that make our program free of charge.
- Is there an age minimum or maximum?
We take kids as young as one-and-a-half years old and we don't have a maximum age.
- What time should we arrive for childcare?
We ask that parents arrive early, right around 10:40. This gives kids a chance to get acquainted with their surroundings before the Assembly starts.
- Where will my children be while I am in assembly?
The Bankers Hill Clubhouse has a separate room with large windows adjacent to the main meeting space that is designated for childcare.
- What if I don't want to put my children in the kids program? Can I still attend?
Of course! We are a family oriented assembly and we love to have assemblers of all ages present. Our child and youth programs are just options. We only ask that your young child starts crying that you enjoy some coloring or drawing in the childcare room with the rest of our kids.
- I'm new to the area, how can my family and I connect with the Sunday Assembly community?
This is a great question and we are very lucky to have a thriving secular community here. Besides our assembly each month, we also host a variety of small groups and service projects that are perfect opportunities to connect with other assemblers and families.
