Sunday Assembly

Guess what event was scheduled on Mission Bay during the first ever Sunday Assembly at "our" beach near Sea World? The San Diego Thunder Boat races! These boats with jet engines will render our outdoor venue unusable, so we've RELOCATED to another lovely outdoor space, graciously donated by a local business. So, leave your camp chairs and beach shoes at home, and join us in this comfortable, shaded, and breezy location with an attached garden. For those of you who have attended past events such as our crawfish boil or Secular Day of the Dead celebration, this is the same place. And you have our apologies for the venue change and possible confusion; our regular venue was already booked for September, and when we decided to do it at our beach, we neglected to see what else was on the Mission Bay calendar. Bad organizers, bad! *hits ourselves with a rolled up newspaper*

Our warning for this month stays the same: this assembly will contain gratuitous dad jokes. Loud groaning is encouraged.

If you rely on public transportation to get to Sunday Assembly, please take a look at how to get to this venue. If it's a big bother, please let us know in the comments and we'll try to hook you up with a carpool.

Sunday Assembly San Diego is a new radically inclusive deity-free community that meets monthly to hear inspirational talks, connect for service projects, sing songs and generally celebrate life. Assemblies are free to attend, and everyone is welcome.
