Octopuses: Earth’s 8-Armed “Aliens”

Octopuses are unique and one of the most bizarre animals on the planet. They are unmatched in their abilities to camouflage, squeeze into tiny places, and catch all types of prey. They use these amazing skills to navigate their environment and are truly important animals in ecosystems worldwide. Jenny Hofmeister, Environmental Scientist at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, studies the movement, populations, and predatory behavior of octopuses in California in an attempt to figure out what goes on inside the mind of an octopus.

The Bankers Hill Club features an accessible facility, including accessible parking spots and bathrooms.

Sunday Assembly San Diego is a new radically inclusive non-religious community that meets monthly to hear inspirational talks, connect for service projects, sing songs and generally celebrate life. Assemblies are free to attend, and everyone is welcome.

Free child care for ages 1.5 and up is available at every Assembly.
