Sunday Assembly: "Time, the Devourer of All Things"

"Time, the Devourer of All Things"
with Sally Sadoff, Behavioral Economist

You know how, even though we plan to eat healthy, watch documentaries, quit smoking, save more, and complete work assignments, another part of us wants instead to eat junk food, watch romantic comedies, keep smoking, spend more, and procrastinate with cat videos? At the January Assembly you get to do both: eat snacks, AND hear Rady School of Management behavioral economics Assistant Professor Sally Sadoff describe the concept of and experiments on "time inconsistency."

Dr. Sadoff is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Strategy at the Rady School of Management, UCSD.

Sadoff's research in applied microeconomics is focused on behavioral economics, experimental economics, labor and human capital. Prior to coming to the Rady School, Sadoff was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago.

Sadoff earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago, and her B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.
