Sunday Assembly - Lemurs

Lemurs, the primates found on the island of Madagascar, have a number of unusual traits including female social dominance over males. Marni LaFleur, Assistant Professor at the University of San Diego and Director of the non-profit Lemur Love, will discuss mammalian reproductive energetics, and how and why lemurs present an interesting evolutionary case study within mammals. Additionally, she will describe her current research with wild lemurs and travels in Madagascar.
