Redefining Human: Living and Eating in a Microbiome World

Have you ever felt anxiety in your gut before you feel it in your brain? What if long-established diseases have more to do with how our gut functions than the medical community thought? Dr. Embriette Hyde of the American Gut Project will share the important work the world's largest crowd-sourced citizen science research project is doing, and describe discoveries made in the "gut/brain connection." Raise your glass of beer/kefir/ [insert fermented brew here] and enjoy that hot dog with sauerkraut, pickles, and kimchi in a toast to your gut's microbiome!
